Spent a great morning at Clear Creek Community Church with our new campus, E96, family. Great to meet the people we will be building our church with. God bless them.

One of my favorites, "The only place you will find Success before Work is in the dictionary." I had never thought of that before, but how true it is.

Feeling blessed today. Sun is shining and I'm at the Challenger 7 Park with some amazing AFJROTC Cadets who are preparing to begin their journey into the Orienteering competition. Temps are in the 90s, heat index in the 100s but they are true superheroes and doing their best. It sure would be a bonus if some of them won a medal or two...woot woot, ? More to come :)

I read a post on facebook that asked the question, "Do you ever wish you could pack up the car, drive down a road as far as it would go and start life over?" I thought about all my trials and tribulations, I thought about how awesome it would be to do it over again but take those things out of my life... let's face it, if those things were not in my life to teach me the facts that I am strong, I am wise, I am healthy, and that I am able to share my story with people going through their own difficulties. My prayer is that you will too know that your trials and tribulations will make you stronger, wiser, healthier, and you will be able to share your story. My trials and tribulations are blessings, and so are yours. Your story is significant and so are you!

What an amazing day, woke to an amazing man...my husband Mike, hearing rain followed by sunshine, off to church (this was my last Sunday small group with my youth group I have been with for 4 years), then spent a couple of hours with God worshiping people in preparation for our mission trip to Haiti. Now heading to some awesome friends house for a great afternoon. Just want to say, "Thank you heavenly father for all the blessings you have provided me!"

WOW, what a great message...need I say more?

Heard an amazing statement last night at our youth group service, "Bad times don't get the last say!" The nessage was about, "why do bad things happen?" It was such an encouraging statement I had to write it down and share.

Although this picture primarily supports the Harley rider, I'm sure we can all agree that we need to be aware of all current riders, soon to be riders, and former riders, all those around us...this picture sort of reminds me that not only do we need to look twice for motorcycles but maybe we need to look twice at ourselves; are we truly being the person we want to be? I know I have to look twice, not focusing in the rear view mirror but focusing forward :)

Sometimes stepping out of the box it a good thing, kids are resilient and so smart. We can learn alot from them...I learn from my students daily, I thank them all for the good and the challenging!
