🌿 Some places become part of your routine.
Others become part of your life.
Natural Living Food Co-op & Cafe has become one of those places for me.
It’s hard to describe because it’s so much more than one thing.
It’s a community food co-op.
It’s a café where you’ll often find me ordering the black bean burger (although those gluten-free biscuits have definitely earned a place in my heart too!).
It’s an apothecary where I love exploring new herbs for my teas.
It’s a place to discover local farmers, artisans, and makers who genuinely care about what they create.
But the biggest reason I keep coming back is simple…
When I shop there, I don’t worry.
I know Lisa and her team have done the homework. They ask the questions I would ask. They thoughtfully curate what they bring into the store, support local businesses whenever they can, and create a space where healthy living feels approachable rather than overwhelming.
As someone who often says, “It’s not just about the food we eat—it’s about everything we choose to consume,” I appreciate having a place that reflects those values.
I’m grateful that our community has had Natural Living for 20 years, and I’m grateful that businesses like mine have found a home there alongside so many other local growers and makers.
If you’ve never wandered through the herb room, browsed the bulk foods, or enjoyed lunch in the café, I encourage you to stop in sometime. You might just find yourself slowing down a little… and discovering something you didn’t know you were looking for.
Thank you, Lisa and the entire Natural Living Food Co-op & Cafe family, for creating a place that’s about so much more than shopping. Here’s to many more years of building a healthier, more connected community. 💚🌿
