Big congratulations to everyone who stepped out there and competed at Jiu Jitsu World League Houston this weekend!

**Win, lose, or draw, I’m SUPER proud of every one of you.**

Competition is hard. Putting yourself out there, in front of everyone, against someone you don’t know and with no idea how things are going to go takes guts. Most people will never have the courage to even try it.

Y'all did!

You trained, put in the work, stepped onto the mat, and gave it everything you had. That’s something to be proud of regardless of what the scoreboard or medal says at the end of the day.

And now we have something even more valuable — **perspective.**

We learned some things. We saw what worked. We saw what didn’t. And now we have a better idea of where we need to improve.

Enjoy the accomplishment, be proud of yourselves, and then...

A 3rd Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt from Rio de Janeiro, Professor Washington is a:

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our gym get-together on Saturday. Seeing our students and families outside of the gym, laughing, sharing stories, and making memories is what it’s all about.

Today we celebrated more than promotions—we celebrated the early mornings, the late nights, the tough rounds, the moments of frustration, and the decision to keep showing up.

Progress in jiu-jitsu isn’t measured by how fast you move through the ranks. It’s measured by the dedication, resilience, and character you build along the way.
