Bright Start Learning Center - Leadville’s only licensed daycare - is relocating from its Mt Crest Church location this Thursday and we desperately need volunteers to help with the task. Bright Start Learning Center is seeking a teacher to care and provide age-appropriate social-emotional growth and development for children ages 12 months to 7 years. Teachers are responsible for building partnerships with families, assuring compliance with Rules & Regulations of all State and local governing contracting agencies, developing weekly plans and curriculum. Applicants should have good communication and organizational skills and demonstrate a passion for working with kids. We are seeking applicants who are lead teacher qualified or are willing to take action to become lead teacher qualified. Substitute teachers are responsible for building partnerships with families, assuring compliance with Rules & Regulations of all State and local governing contracting agencies, developing weekly plans and curriculum. Applicants should have good communication and organizational skills and demonstrate a passion for working with kids. We are seeking applicants who can be flexible and willing to come in on short notice and fill in for days that teachers are at trainings.
