The campers enjoyed performing songs for her, telling her what they’ve learned over the past 6 weeks of camp, asking questions and listening to her tell how music has had a positive impact on her life. 🎵❤️

Callie is a terrific role model and we appreciate her stopping by the studio today! 😃

The rule “Don’t play with your food!” didn’t apply to piano campers last week, as they used Oreo cookies to build a musical staff! 🎼

The chocolate cookie represented the 5 lines, and the cream filling represented the four spaces. After using their cookie creations to name the lines and spaces of the Table clef, campers indulged in the sweet treat. 😋

Today the piano campers created “Summer Monsters” using an adorable activity from 🐢

Campers in “Keys to Piano” 🎹 identified notes on the keyboard to construct their monsters, while “Under the C” campers identified notes on the bass clef.

Making learning fun is what Piano Camp is all about 😀

Loved having Gavin, a former piano student, stop by the studio today to tell me about his Kindness Rock project! ☺️

Gavin (and his mom Ally) are painting rocks and hiding them around town for people to find. If you find a rock, take a photo with it and share on social media with the hashtag

In total, they’ve painted and hidden 24 rocks!! Rocks #6 and #7 might be hidden near Forte 🎵😉
