PBIS is not just for schools, it can be adopted at home as well. You can teach expected behaviors and focus on the good behaviors that you see. Over the next couple of months we will help outline how to implement PBIS at Home.

1. Set Expectations.
Create a list of 3 -5 POSITIVELY worded expectations for the whole house. Keep it simple!

Some examples are:
- Be respectful
- Be understanding
- Be helpful
- Be responsible
- Be safe
- Be helpful
- Be resourceful

Wellness Wednesday 🍓🫑🏃‍♀️🦠🩺🧼
Helping the children in your care stay healthy and well is always important! Now, more than ever, practicing healthy habits that prevent illness is essential.

To help stop the spread of illnesses, please keep your child home if...
* They have a temp of 100.4 or higher within the last 24 hours.
* They have vomited within the last 24 hours.
* They have had diarrhea within the last 24 hours.
* They have an undiagnosed rash with itching or fever.
* They have head lice.
* They have an eye infection with redness, itching and/or drainage from eye.
* They have been in the hospital or had an ER visit.

By keeping your child home while sick will not only help them get better, it helps prevent the spread of illnesses to others.

GRATITUDE ACTIVITY
For an easy gratitude activity that the entire family can participate in, make a gratitude jar and place it in a common area of your home. Every day, have everyone write down one thing they’re grateful for on a slip of paper and add it to the jar. At the end of each week, you can read through all the things you were grateful for and reflect on all the good moments you’ve shared as a family.
