CLASS OF 1971 HAVING MEET UP AT THIS WEEK’S FOOTBALL GAME

The ‘71 football team led by the Class of 1972 members is putting together an informal get-together Friday, October 16th for the Bulldog football game. Kick-off is 7:00 pm at the stadium. This is the final home game of the season and also senior night. The ‘71 team will be sitting together and will be recognized - likely at half-time. Any members of the Class of 1972 - guys AND GALS - spouses, members of other classes are encouraged to attend the game and postgame....

Here is the competition schedule for the Bulldog Battle of the Bands on Saturday. Tickets are $15 and available on Bound or at the Gate. See you there!

Class of 1996 reunion updates:

Class Reunion — Saturday Night Event Update 🔥
Alright Class of ’96 — here’s the rundown for our Saturday night reunion event at Willow Creek Golf Course in Le Mars. This is our main get‑together, and it’s going to be a fun, relaxed night to reconnect.
We’re serving a taco / nacho / fajita bar for dinner — this setup has been a hit at multiple events, and it’s perfect for a casual night together. Dinner will be $10–$15 per person, and they’ll collect payment the night of the event.
Food will be early evening, with the exact time coming soon. We need a solid headcount at LEAST a week before, so please make sure you’re signed up.
Right now we’re at 27 people total, including plus‑ones. We also have several verbal commitments from classmates who haven’t officially signed up yet — so if that’s you, please sign up or PM me so we can get you counted.
At the football game, we hope to have a reserved section for our class with a special Class of ’96 announcement during the game.
It’s shaping up to be a great Saturday night — good food, easy vibes, and a chance to catch up with everyone.

No awkward speeches. No popularity contests. Just a chance to laugh about old stories, catch up, and make a few new memories together.

Heads up Class of 1967: August Class of 1967 coffee will be held this Thursday , Sept 3. We’re going to meet at Bobs Drive Inn at 1:00 for those who would like lunch. The coffee will be at 1:30. Hoping for a lot of classmates and/or friends. This will be our last coffee until our mini reunion on Oct 10 at the Legion in Le mars. Join us for a Bobs Hotdog!!!

Congratulations Mr. Ihnen! Your success was our success.

Sheldon native Craig Ihnen has been inducted into the National High School Hall of Fame, joining an elite group of educators, coaches and athletes recognized for their impact on high school activities nationwide. The honor caps a career that helped shape speech, theater and fine arts programs across Iowa and beyond.

I’ve got lots of number 2 Pencils, a couple of Pens, Highlighters Ruler, Glue stick, Colored pencils, oh my A notebook for each class Extra folders, dry erase markers My favorite Trapper Keeper, extra lined paper Earphones, calculator A new lunch box ready to be filled to the brim....

There is no cost to classmates for the meal, but cash bar.
