Sheldon native Craig Ihnen has been inducted into the National High School Hall of Fame, joining an elite group of educators, coaches and athletes recognized for their impact on high school activities nationwide. The honor caps a career that helped shape speech, theater and fine arts programs across Iowa and beyond.

August 24 is the official start of the Le Mars Community School year. I’ve got lots of number 2 Pencils, a couple of Pens, Highlighters Ruler, Glue stick, Colored pencils, oh my A notebook for each class Extra folders, dry erase markers My favorite Trapper Keeper, extra lined paper Earphones, calculator A new lunch box ready to be filled to the brim....

Welcome to the Class of '71 for their 55th get together tonight, 6 p.m. at the American Legion in Le Mars.
There is no cost to classmates for the meal, but cash bar.

Come see us at the Plymouth County Fair!

Le Mars Community School Alumni Association will be at the Plymouth County Fair, Wednesday, July 29 through Sunday, August 2. Come visit with us in the Commercial building. Renew your membership, join for the first time, see what's happening with your Alumni Association, purchase a Bulldog mug, the famous Peanut Butter Bar recipe tea towel, Bulldog visor, show your support with a Bulldog pin, or give your young ones a set of pom poms. The Best 5 Days of Summer are almost here!

The Class of 1976 reunion is here, and here's what you need to know about it:
Our reunion is almost here. Some classmates have already arrived in LeMars. We are looking forward to seeing you!
Schedule:
○Fri. 7:30 pm - Informal gathering at the Oak Room (connected to IA BBQ) 100 Plymouth St. SW. If you want to eat there, the Oak Room has taverns, hot dogs and fries to order. Menu from IA BBQ is also available.
○Sat. 10:00 am - School tour. I will meet you at the front of the high school.
○Sat. 11:00 am - Golf at Prairie Rose Golf Course in Brunsville. Rod Peterson & Sandy Downing will be there to greet you.
○Sat. 6:00 pm - Dinner at Mr. P's, 630 8th Ave SW.
