LCHS Choir Alum!! Congratulations Maria!!

Maria Rosener, a LCHS graduate, is joining Clark Elementary as a 2nd grade teacher! 🍎

She is returning to the district after earning her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Education endorsement from Wayne State College. She completed her student teaching with Hinton Community Schools and previously served as a substitute teacher for LCSD.

This weekend, 22 students from Le Mars attended Wartburg College All State Camp. There were over 650 students at this camp!

They spent their days in sectionals and large group rehearsals, got to Zoom call with the All State conductor/composer of two of the pieces, and spent time around campus doing karaoke, swimming at the pool, climbing the rock wall, and more!

It was a great weekend! Wish these amazing students luck as they continue preparing their All State music!

This past weekend, 4 Le Mars students got the opportunity to participate in the Iowa All-State Show Choir. They learned 3 songs with choreographer Steph Hyatt and director Jen Randall. Nancy got to sing the opening solo of the show as well as do an improvised dance solo in the closer. All 4 students had an amazing time in the choir and show band! The group looked and sounded amazing.

Go Megan!! What an awesome person! So excited to see what she does beyond high school!

Megan plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa to study elementary education and special education. Throughout high school, she has been deeply involved in music, speech, theater, and leadership activities, while also giving back through tutoring, church involvement, and community service.
