Looking for something fun, active, and unique to do this summer? Sportrock Climbing Centers is hosting Block Party, a big summer celebration made especially for beginners and families who have never climbed before! Use our promo code below for additional discount!

Here’s what to expect:
Beginner-friendly climbing all day

Fun games like crate stacking and a hanging challenge with prizes
Free food for all (and beer for adults) from 4 - 7 PM

Event Details:
When: Saturday, July 20th | 10 AM – 7 PM
Where: Sportrock Rio, Gaithersburg, MD
Cost: Only $5 per person, or $15 if you want a climbing class (includes rental gear!) - But with promo code SR-LAYTONSVILLE it would be only $10 for the climbing classes!

No experience or gear is needed - just wear comfortable clothes and bring your sense of adventure!

BrainBox Organization is hosting a free STEM summer program for elementary school students at North Bethesda Middle School this year, from 5:30 - 6:30 PM every Wednesday from June 25th to July 23rd! BrainBox is a student-led nonprofit organization based in Montgomery County, Maryland, with the mission of making STEM education more accessible, engaging, and fun for students in our community. FIRST Robotics Team 4099 is hosting RoboCamps this year! RoboCamps is a week-long summer camp held at Poolesville Self Defense where students, ages 8–14, learn how to design, build, and code their own robot. This interactive camp culminates in a final competition on the last day, where campers can show off their robots and compete for a special prize!
