Kids learn best by doing! We explored apples this week at Super STAR Academy. Where they come from, the different parts and what the do for the apple. We learned about a new tool and practiced a life skill. We did a taste test and observed different textures as we can make a hard apple into soft apple sauce!

One project, so many skills! Controlled squeeze, fun new painting technique, fine motor, how to use tape, pen control, name writing and listening. The kiddos were so proud of their falling leaves art projects.
I still have some openings in my Afternoon Super Nova class. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. 12:30-3:30

Learning to write your name is a process. When we start at 3 years old, its not about holding the pen right or following the lines. Its about recognizing the letters in your name, exploring putting marks on the page, seeing that each letter has its own space, feeling proud!
