Our Story
West Coast Wing Chun Layton was founded in 2012 by Sifu Lee Kim, in association with the Headquarters, West Coast Wing Chun (owned and operated by Chief Instructor Master Sifu Bryan Talbot in Long Beach/Signal Hill, CA). The Layton branch is the 3rd branch of this Wing Chun School and promotes, uplift and abide by the traditional Ip Man Wing Chun Kung Fu through our Grandmaster Samuel Kwok of the Samuel Kwok Martial Arts Athletic Association. Thanks to the efforts put forth by the Masters before, we are able to bring this authentic Ip Man Wing Chun Kung Fu (without filters or preservatives) to the Wasatch Front here in Layton, UT.
Get started in our school through enrollment in our “Introduction to Wing Chun” Boot Camp program, which is a 3-months program that meets for 12-weeks, once a week on Monday nights from 6:30pm-8:30pm (2 hours), plus an optional “Open Gym” training session on Saturday mornings 10am-12pm (2 hours). The cost for this session if only $126 plus $14 booklet-study-guide fee, for a total of $140 (cash or check).
