We are proud of these recently recognized students for demonstrating our Core Values.

Our Second Grade Crew had a great time at This is the Place Heritage Park. The kids learned all about the life of pioneer children. They learned how to carter wool and spin it into thread, played games that the pioneer children played while they did their chores, and found out part of their work was to play with the animals in the barn! Most of them said they'd want that job! ☺️

We loved having so many families join us for Literacy Night, last week! The halls, crafting rooms, and reading nooks were packed! The time together enjoying books and the conversations while creating projects were wonderful. Thanks to all who came and made the night a success.

Our librarian, Ms. Cat, helped us celebrate “Read Across America” this week. Each class submitted a Dr. Seuss inspired sentence that then inspired her next place to read. Eager students lined the library windows to peek at the photo evidence of spots she sat with a book. From a “lagoon with a baboon” to a “wagon with a dragon” she sure knows how to make reading fun!

Engineers from Hill Air Force Base came and helped our fourth graders make and launch paper rockets. It was fun to see faces looking up and excitement for engineering grow.

Our sixth graders did an amazing job at the science fair. Our community learned so much from each student’s confidently presented research.

The Winter Olympics came to LLA today! Our kindergarten students rotated classes and participated in fun Olympic activities.

Not to be outdone by day 100, day 101 of school finds our hallways full of kindergarteners in their black and white Dalmatian best!
