Adventure Awaits! 🧭✨
Our teachers had an incredible time at the Davis School District Summer R&R Conference, exploring new ideas, strategies, and opportunities for growth. From engaging language arts and math sessions to creative ways to incorporate movement into the classroom, our educators embraced every opportunity to learn and collaborate.
One of the biggest takeaways and reminders? The importance of building strong relationships that help every student feel connected, supported, and ready to succeed. ❤️
We're excited to bring these new adventures in learning back to our classrooms and continue creating meaningful experiences for our students. The journey continues, and we can't wait to see where it leads!

Black Bear Diner has been one of our huge sponsors this year. Each term they’ve awarded a bike or scooter to a student with perfect attendance for the term. To celebrate the end of the year, they gave away 2 this term! Congrats to these amazing students and great work being at school every day!

Our 6th graders in Ms. Bowser's class put their engineering skills to the test by designing and building bridges out of recycled materials for our Bridge to Terabithia CKLA unit! 🌉♻️ After planning, creating, and testing their designs, students discovered just how much creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving go into building a strong bridge.
Special visitors at school today 💙💛
Our Layton High School graduates and King alumni stopped by to say goodbye before their next big adventure. We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them! 🎓✨
Today in STEM, things got SWEET! 🍦🧪 Students made ice cream in a bag while learning about states of matter and how salt helps lower the temperature to freeze the ice cream. The best part? We turned up the music and shook, rattled, and rolled those bags until our arms were tired and our ice cream was ready! 🎶💃🕺
There were lots of laughs, dancing, science, and delicious results! Ask your student if they were part of the “shake squad”! 😄
