At Layton Elementary, our admins are truly part of the FOUNDATION of our school. Honestly, the place might crumble without them! ๐ There are not enough words to express how much they do for our students, staff, and families every single day.
โจ Mrs. Teague has been part of the Layton family for years, teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade for 7 years before stepping into administration. She LOVES traveling โ especially when it involves watching her kids play soccer โฝ๏ธ โ and she is counting down the days until the World Cup this summer! ๐ She could probably survive on tacos ๐ฎ and sushi ๐ฃ alone, and if thereโs music or a concert involved, sheโs all in! ๐ถ๐ค
โก Mr. Campbell is basically the celebrity of recess! The students LOVE when he has time to head out to the playground and join the fun. Heโs been in education for 13 years and loves working with the amazing students at Layton. Heโs also a huge Harry Potter fan โก๐ and enjoys reading, traveling, and bringing energy and positivity everywhere he goes!
We are so lucky to have these two incredible leaders helping make Layton Elementary such a special place every day! ๐๐

๐๐ซง Do bubbles come out of volcanoes?! ๐ค After some research, our students decidedโฆ probably not โ but wouldnโt that be AWESOME?! ๐ This week, our students took on TWO exciting science projects! ๐ First, they learned all about volcanoes and even built their own erupting models. ๐๐ฅ Then, they switched gears and experimented with bubble solutions, testing which mixtures made the best bubbles while learning about surface tension. ๐ซง๐ฌ From explosive eruptions to floating bubbles, our students had so much fun exploring science through hands-on learning and creativity!
