Davis School District has partnered with Waterford Upstart to provide our PreK children with an on-demand early learning program that gives you tools, coaching and resources so you can prepare your child for a bright future.

Program Benefits:

• Tailored software with fun and engaging lessons in reading, math and science that are done in just fifteen minutes a day
• Personalized family coaching and easy-to-use resources that support the work you’re already doing with your child
• A computer and internet access for those who qualify

We are so proud of her hard work, dedication, and willingness to grow her technology skills. This is such an awesome accomplishment, and we love seeing our students do incredible things both in and out of the classroom.

Maria brings so much creativity and heart to our school. Her patience creates a calm, welcoming classroom where students feel safe to ask questions and try new things.

One of the things we admire most about Maria is her love of learning. Even with multiple degrees, she continues to seek growth—asking thoughtful questions, reaching out for support, and taking on every challenge with grace. Her positive energy lifts our entire team, and we are so lucky to have her at Davis Connect.

Outside the classroom, she loves quilting, gardening, and is even taking piano lessons. A lifelong learner at heart, Maria enjoys exploring new interests—though she’ll admit finding time to read the tall stack of books on her nightstand can be a challenge! 💙

We’re thrilled to recognize our incredible 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Moore—someone who brings heart, adventure, and positivity to everything she does at Davis Connect. Not only is she an amazing teacher who reaches and inspires so many students, but she also helps lead our elementary team. She consistently goes above and beyond, always looking out for the greater good and supporting everyone around her. 💛

When she’s not cheering on her students, Mrs. Moore and her family love exploring the outdoors—camping, four-wheeling, and enjoying Utah’s beauty together. 🏕️She’s an avid hiker who has taken on trails like King’s Peak and Angel’s Landing, and she loves snowshoeing when winter rolls in. 🥾

At home, the Moores stay busy with home-improvement projects (even if the kids aren’t always fans 😄). She also loves reading, though she admits she usually falls asleep the second she finally sits down—relatable! 📚😴

We’re so grateful for Mrs. Moore’s kindness, leadership, dedication, and the light she brings to our school community. She makes a difference every single day. 💙✨
