ATTENTION WOLVERINE PARENTS!!!
HAVE YOU HEARD YOUR STUDENT TALKING ABOUT THEIR HOUSE? OR THEIR HOUSE SHIRT? LET US EXPLAIN WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT 😊

🏠 Each year, every new student is placed into one of FOUR houses, usually with students from different grades together. Your student will usually stay in that house for their entire time at WHITESIDES.
Each house has its own name (VALOR, PERSEVERANCE, INTEGRITY, IMAGINATION), colors (RED, GREEN, PURPLE, YELLOW), and traditions.
Students earn points for things like positive behavior, teamwork, leadership, and participation.
Houses compete throughout the year in school-spirit challenges.
Older students can take on leadership roles and help younger students.
The system creates a strong sense of belonging and friendly competition, while encouraging students to support their house rather than just themselves.
The basic idea is to turn the school into a team-based community where students have an identity, goals, responsibilities, and reasons to celebrate one another.

This year, each STUDENT will get a NEW HOUSE SHIRT at NO CHARGE! IF you haven't had a chance to FILL OUT an order form for YOUR CHILD, please use this LINK as soon as possible!! 👕

Dear Whitesides Families,

Our No Sale Summer Fundraiser is here, and we’re making fundraising easier than ever!

No cookie dough. No door-to-door sales. No car washes. No raffles.

Just one simple way to make a big impact for our students.

Every dollar donated goes directly toward helping us purchase new school shirts for our kids and support the amazing programs that make Whitesides special.

Whether you give $10 or $100, your generosity helps create more opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and succeed.

This week we’re celebrating our amazing cafeteria team for School Lunch Hero Day! 🦸‍♀️🥪
Every day, they show up with smiles, serve up nutritious meals, and make sure our students feel cared for and ready to learn. Their hard work behind the scenes keeps our kids strong and fueled for success!
Thank you Miss Sierra, Miss Kathy, Miss Jodi, and Miss Patti for all you do to nourish both bodies and hearts. We appreciate you more than words can say! 💙🍎
