I'm offering,
MICRO tutoring lessons,
20.00 and under per session
Sessions can be anywhere from 15 min to 45 min.

USA, CENTRAL time zone.
Virtual or in-person MICRO lessons in Sign Language- with support from the DEAF community, Writing, Math, Reading-ELA, Science and Social Sciences available.
Grades Pre-K through 6th.

Also needing 5-10 individuals for a Virtual Winter Book Club for kids....this includes reading the same book, asking questions, making predictions, and summarizing the book in 5 paragraph essay format. This will help strengthen vocabulary, writing, and thinking skills. Each participant will also recieve a few trinkets for being in the book club.

An exciting announcement!!

I am beginning my journey as a sign language interpreter.
I have collaborated with a friend from the DEAF community to be able to give lessons in sign language.
Together she and I will provide vocabulary, sentence structure, and basic to moderate level skills for those interested in learning.
We are excited to offer this class.

One exciting opportunity this summer will be an activity called Movies and Writing.
We will watch a movie AND develop our writing skills.
This 3 hr activity will include watching a movie, sharing/writing new endings and/or predicting outcomes. We will also improve editing and summarizing skills.

Details for Fall-ING in Love with Reading are coming up. This took a little longer than originally planned, but the group is set to start January 20th and will take approx. four weeks to complete. It is written by a local AND child author. So excited to share this story and humor/wit in our book club. We may even get a chance to interview/meet the author.

Good Morning Facebook.

Fall really is one of the best times of year!The fast-paced summer and start of school is over and FALL seems to slow everything down a bit. I want to take this time and share an activity planned for early November through December.

Fall in Love with Reading ,

Stay tuned for details and dates, we will have in-person and online activities available. The You-Tube channel will be up and running and supplement this reading activity.

Basically, we will choose a book together, wear cozy apparel and sit comfortably as we read a story together and discuss it. This will be much like a book club except for elementary students. The focus will be to ENJOY reading and understanding what it says not necessarily a certain level of skill. This activity only requires that the child will be attentive/following along and know how to orient a book.

*Many years ago, in class, this would be referred to as something similar to Drop Everything and Read Day!

Okay as promised, I will be expanding my Social Media sphere of influence. Check back on Saturday for the official YouTube channel and the newest signing video.
