Hello Class of 1992. I hope the summer is treating you well.
Well, we have finally finished the major details for our reunion in Las Vegas. We are still trying to get our website up and running, but I wanted to pass on the details.
Lodging: We have negotiated discounted rates for 29 deluxe rooms at Treasure Island for 21st, 22nd and 23rd of July. The rooms are available at a rate of $85 per night for a room with a King sized bed. There is a reduced resort fee (common of all Vegas hotels) and taxes which will come to approx. $120 per night. However, if you plan to split the room costs and be guaranteed a room with 2 Queen beds, the rate is $95. The rooms can accommodate up to four people (however there is a fee for the 3rd & 4th guest if reported to the hotel).
If we need more than 29 rooms, we MAY be able to get more, depending on how fast the initial rooms are booked. Treasure Island will provide us with a custom link to reserve and pay for the discounted reunion rooms – we will share this as soon as we finalize the contract.
Treasure Island will accept reservations under the special rate until June 21, 2017 or once we’ve exhausted the block of rooms. First come, first served – once rooms are booked and we can no longer increase the EHS ’92 Reunion group capacity, you will be on your own to find lodging.
Events/cost: We have planned several events – many of which are pay-as-you-go optional, however there are two events we need to reserve and pay upfront. The meet and greet July 21, and the banquet July 22. The cost is $150 per person or $250 for 2 people. The second person can be another ‘92 alum or a guest. This cost will need to be paid for when you register on the EHS ’92 Reunion website - to be launched soon.
As with planning any major event, the sooner everyone has registered the better it will be for the committee to finalize the head count, facilities and potentially negotiate more amenities for our class of ’92 reunion. The more Eagles we have attending, the bigger we can make it.
We have extended the reunion to Eagles from other classes. If you know of anyone interested in kicking it with the greatest class in EHS history, pass along this information. We have already received several inquiries from the ‘93 alums who’ve heard about our epic reunions.
Lastly, once we launch the EHS ’92 Reunion website and when Treasure Island provides the special link to reserve the discounted rooms, we will send you the links. If you have any questions, let me know.
