📣 CHILD CARE AVAILABILITY & WAITLIST UPDATE
We know many local families are unexpectedly searching for child care following yesterday’s announcement that yet another area program will be closing next month. We are incredibly sorry for the families and staff affected by this closure. 💛
Since the announcement, Wild & Wonder has been inundated with phone calls, emails and enrollment inquiries, so we want to share our current availability and the process for joining our waitlist.
At this time, we do not have immediate openings in any of our classrooms. We operate with a waitlist for each age group. To be fully transparent - if you are searching for an infant spot - even our waitlist is full for that room. (There are several already on that list who won't be born until spring/summer 2027.)
If you would like to be added to our 1yo, 2yo, 3yo or 4yo waitlists, please email:

• Your name
• Your child’s name
• Child’s date of birth
We will respond with a link to complete our registration form. Your child is added to the waitlist once the registration form has been completed.
🏫 FACILITY TOURS
Because Wild & Wonder is a secure child care facility, tours are scheduled by appointment only. Once we anticipate having an opening for your child’s age group, we will contact you to schedule a facility tour.
Please do not arrive at the program expecting a tour without an appointment. For the safety of the children in our care and to minimize disruptions to our classrooms, we cannot accommodate walk-in tours.
We know families may be feeling a sense of urgency right now, and we truly wish we had space for everyone who is reaching out.
It is also difficult to see yet another local child care program make the decision to close. The cost of operating a high-quality child care program has risen dramatically, while reimbursement rates and other funding have not kept pace. Child care programs throughout our community are navigating an increasingly difficult financial environment, and every closure affects not only the families enrolled there, but the availability of care throughout our entire area.
