Third-grade students used a giant deck of cards to form numbers and write them in expanded form.
Students in all grades can practice this skill at home. Simply adjust the number of cards they use.
1- Hand your child 2-6 cards (depending on skill level).
2- Ask your child to read the number to you.
3- Have them write the number in expanded form. (Example: 2,346 becomes 2,000 + 300 + 40 + 6)

Aloha! 🌺 We made it through the first week of school! 🎉
We want to give a huge THANK YOU to Michelle Fisher, Christy Owen, and Gabriella & Zachary Hollis for their incredibly selfless donation to help our staff end the week with a much needed pick me up!

Our staff absolutely loved the amazing drink station and all the goodies! Everyone enjoyed it and had so many wonderful things to say. We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity in helping make our first week a little sweeter! 🥰 Thank you for thinking of our staff and helping us celebrate making it through week one!

Some of Mrs. Phillips’ third-grade students practiced reading with expression while sharing a readers’ theater skit with Mrs. Fisher’s first-grade class.

We had a fantastic start to the year! Our first graders drank “jitter juice” and discussed how they felt about school. The second graders reviewed their addition facts with a color-by-number activity. Third-grade students studied Vincent Van Gogh and created their own renditions of “The Starry Night.”
