A NEW CHAPTER FOR LAWSON AGRICULTURE!

We are beyond excited to celebrate the groundbreaking of our new Agriculture Learning Facility! This is an incredible step forward for our program and will create new opportunities for students to learn, grow, and explore the many possibilities within the agriculture industry through hands-on, real-world experiences.

This facility represents more than just a new building - it represents an investment in our students, our future, and the next generation of agricultural leaders. We are so excited to see this vision come to life and watch the impact it will have on our students and community for years to come!

A HUGE thank you to the Lawson School District, our community, and everyone who has supported agricultural education and helped make this dream a reality. Your support means the world to our program, and we cannot wait to see what grows from this exciting new beginning!

🌾STATE BOUND!

This past Wednesday, four of our Ag 2 students and Lawson FFA members stepped outside their comfort zones to try something new at the Missouri Grasslands Competition! Through this contest, members learn to identify native plants, evaluate grassland resources, and build their knowledge of forage and land management.

We are so proud of these girls for taking on a new challenge, learning along the way, and earning a spot at the STATE competition! 🎉 They’ll be back at it next Thursday as they represent Lawson FFA on the state level!

Here’s to trying something new, growing your knowledge, and finding new opportunities through FFA!

We are only a little over a week away from our co****le tournament at the Lawson Fall Festival! You won't want to miss it!

- Tournament will run from 10am-3pm (depending on # of teams)
- Registration is $5 a team (half the earnings go to the winning team!)
- Two players per team
- Standard co****le rules and regulations will apply.

Tonight, 13 of our first-year members traveled to Gallatin for the Area 2 Greenhand Initiation, where they were recognized alongside other first-year FFA members from across the area!

🌱🐄 Ag Ed on the Move is officially underway!

Our FFA members recently stepped into the role of student educators for our first lesson with Lawson 5th and 6th graders! Students explored the world of soybeans and beef cattle through hands-on, interactive activities that brought agriculture to life.

Opportunities like Ag Ed on the Move are so important because agriculture is all around us, but not every student has the opportunity to learn where their food comes from, how it is produced, or the many careers that make agriculture possible. By bringing agriculture into the classroom, we can help students make those connections early and discover an industry they may have never considered before.

Just as importantly, this program gives our FFA members the opportunity to teach, lead, communicate, and share their passion for agriculture with the next generation.

We’re excited to keep moving agriculture into more classrooms throughout Lawson! 🌱❤️
