Gamma Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was founded in 1949 and chartered in 1951.

We have served the citizens of Brunswick and Greensville County through various community service projects, programs, and initiatives. By implementing programs in our target areas of Educational Enrichment, Health Promotion, Family Strengthening, Environmental Ownership and Global Impact, we strive to be agents of service and change in our communities.
