The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the gold standard for early childhood education, and every Legacy Academy is accredited or working to be accredited by this prestigious organization. NAYEC’s first standard is relationship. Building positive relationships between educators and families helps us provide the best possible care for the children entrusted to our care. That’s why we communicate regularly and have regular school and community events to be sure we are building strong relationships between our teachers and families.

At Legacy Academy, our goal is to give children the opportunity to learn and grow as they become healthy, responsible, independent, and self-sufficient individuals. Every day, they learn that they can do it themselves!

Did you know that patterning is a foundational algebra skill? It helps students transition from concrete thinking, where only one thing can be right, to more abstract concepts. How many circles? How many blue? Things can be grouped differently. This builds skills in prediction, sequencing, and problem-solving that are essential for higher-level math.

Learning about how to take care of your body is an important lesson. At Legacy Academy, our science curriculum includes important super fun activities about self-care and grooming.

Meal time and snack time are a lot of fun at Legacy Academy for Children. Our little ones are learning to try new foods and as they grow, they’ll eat in our cafeteria for family-style dining, learning table manners and social skills while enjoying nutritious foods
