Summer Happenings at GSMST:

First, help us congratulate Brandon Choi on being a semifinalist in the national competition, Genes in Space! His proposed project is titled, "Plasmid retention and biomanufacturing potential of E.coli in response to space-induced stress". Best of luck as he moves on to the final round! Next, several talented HOSA students are competing at the International HOSA Conference in Indianapolis this week! Best of luck as they compete against teams from around the world!

Yesterday, GSMST was awarded the GOSA (Governor's Office of Student Achievement) Award in two categories: Highest Academic Achievement and Greatest Gains.

GSMST won the Platinum award in Academic Achievement and Platinum award in Greatest Gains. This level represents the top 1% of all schools in Georgia.

These awards capture student progress and achievement over the last three school years (2022/23, 2023/24, and 2024/25). It is a true testament to the hard work and expertise of our teachers, the support of our families, and the dedication of our students.

We are immensely proud of our entire school community. Thank you for your support of our school and our students as they continue to reach higher levels of achievement every year.
