When working with curly or multi-textured hair, keep in mind that although hair is hair, hair shape is different depending on the amount of wave or curl. This can cause the hair to be more susceptible to breakage because each turn of the hair can be a stress point. Be sure to nourish the hair with protein and moisture when adding chemicals and using heat tools to keep it strong and shiny!
