Hello! One of our part time teachers is in school for Dental Hygienist and asked me to share this post with the community!

Hello friends! I am a first year dental hygiene student at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. My classmates and I are seeing our first patients this semester and would love to start seeing children in the clinic! The cost is 10$ for a general cleaning and a fluoride treatment. The appointment times would be Wednesday 12:30pm-3:45pm and Fridays 8am-11:15 am. We would need the whole block of time to work on our patients as it is a learning environment which means longer appointment times. It is a great way for us to start learning how to care for children in the dental office setting and it is a great cost effective way to care for your oral health! This month the prek kids have been learning about Community Helpers and this week we were lucky to have: a banker, construction worker, Fire department and an electrician. Thanks to these special visitors for taking time out of their day for the kids 🥰

27 years ago today I started the child care center not having a clue what I was doing. I started watching 3 kids in a single wide trailer and then started the process to go bigger to 6. I had no employees working for me and worked 7 days a week to build my reputation. A few years later my current home was built where I went a bit bigger to 12 kids with 1 employee and then to 24 kids and then to 38❤️ It was a lot of hard work and sacrifices but I wouldn’t have it any other way 😃
I’ve had some amazing staff help me throughout the years to get where I am today. I’m also thankful for the community and clients for entrusting us to help prepare your child for school.

Some of the kiddos made leprechaun traps with their families and brought them into the center to try and catch a leprechaun ☘️! He was too sneaky again this year, all they caught were gold coins and candy
