What an incredible four days of learning, connecting and getting to know what it truly means to be part of LTPS!
Our newest staff members wrapped up New Staff Orientation today after four exciting days filled with opportunities to learn not only about Lawrence Township Public Schools, but from the people who make our schools and community so special.
They heard an inspiring keynote from New Jersey State Teacher of the Year Gillian Ober, who shared her own powerful story and journey as an educator. They got out into the community for our annual Lawrence Township bus tour with LMS Principal Dr. Milavsky, explored curriculum and professional development, and participated in important conversations with our Student Services team.
They also learned directly from the experts! Our new teachers heard from an incredible student panel, giving them the opportunity to learn about LTPS through the eyes of our students. They also connected with current educators during a teacher-to-teacher Q&A panel, where colleagues shared their experiences, advice and insights about making LTPS their professional home.
After four days of learning, growing, asking questions, making connections and sharing plenty of laughs, the orientation concluded with a lunch generously provided by the Lawrence Township Education Association (LTEA). Thank you, LTEA!
Now, we are ready to take the next step together! Tomorrow morning, we look forward to welcoming back ALL of our staff for Convocation Day 2026 as we officially kick off another amazing school year.
To our newest educators: Welcome home! We are so glad you are here. ❤️
