Tutoring has officially started! Any student is welcome to attend as long as they have a permission slip on file in the office.

Students do not have to stay every night—they can attend on the days that work best for them!

Check out the flyer below for tutoring days and times. 😊

If your student hasn’t turned in a permission slip yet, you can pick one up in the office or scan the QR code on the flyer to print one!

Congratulations to our AUGUST Academic Students of the Month and Character Trait Students of the Month, selected by their grade-level teams!

We also want to recognize our PBIS Outstanding BRAVE Award recipient...She earned the most PBIS points by consistently demonstrating the BRAVE expectations throughout the month.

Our sixth grade ELA students have been diving into Boy: Tales of Childhood by Roald Dahl. While reading “The Great Mouse Plot,” students studied how Dahl develops memorable characters and creates a vivid setting through descriptive details.

Students used text evidence to draw their own interpretations of Mrs. Pratchett and her sweet shop. Their illustrations show how closely they read the story and how differently each student visualizes the same words. They had so much fun bringing this unforgettable character and setting to life. We are so proud of their creativity, attention to detail, and thoughtful understanding of the text.

Today, a few of our leaders were busy mixing up the candy they hand out to students and staff celebrating their birthdays! 🍭🎉

The Leadership Team helps make our school a better place. They help teachers and custodians, work in the office, help with Morning News, design the Braves bulletin, collect recycling, laminate, assist with PBIS and dress-up days, and so much more!

We appreciate all the time & effort they put into helping around Parkview! We are lucky to have them! ❤️🤍

It didn’t go quite as planned thanks to the heat, but we still got to celebrate our 8th Grade Lady Braves! ❤️🤍

A little recognition, a scrimmage, and pizza made for a fun night! We’re so proud of these girls and all they’ve accomplished!! 🥎

Band practice with a twist! Our students used balloons to practice breathing control—a fun, visual way to learn about air control and maintaining steady air pressure while playing their instruments! 🎶🎈
