According to updated information from the Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore, Vietnamese import-export businesses need to pay attention to some new policies issued by Singapore and currently under consultation.

**Singapore Issues Circular on Amending Export Procedures for Processed Meat and Egg Products from Overseas Approved Processing Establishments**

The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has reviewed and amended the export procedures for processed meat and egg products from approved processing establishments. These amendments will take effect from December 1, 2024. Some key points include:

- The SFA will move from approving based on products to approving based on factors such as: (i) the form of goods; (ii) the type of processed products for export;

- A requirement to specify the form of goods (e.g., heat-treated or non-heat-treated) for each product being exported;
