Mountain View High School

Our GSLT Board and student representatives attended the annual Summit at Peachtree Ridge yesterday.

Though they didn't walk away with the spirit stick, they were SUPER Spirited and have a vision for the SY26-27.

We are super excited about their leadership.

This month's Turnover chain goes to one of our Social Studies teacher, Joshua Ledford.

He has proven to be an all-in staff member and collaborative team member. Whatever is necessary, he does it with a great attitude while always considering what is best for students.

He is an instructional leader and champion and we are proud to have him as part of our Bear Family!

This team is full of personality and have a passion for literacy and stretching our learners.

Literature and Comp II teachers raised test scores and are well above our regression line because of their dedication to embracing and implementing the Mountain View Instructional Framework.

They are our Team of the Month!

The end of the school year comes with mixed emotions but never a hesitation to celebrate our Support Person of the Year.

Congratulations to our finalists, Stefanie Hauck (Sub Coordinator & Clerk), Kimberly Newby ( School Clinic Worker) and our winner, Keisha Long ( Discipline Clerk).

Welcome to Mountain View Dance Team!!

Coach Bonin has trained in dance her entire life, including four years under Suzanne Kross while at Mill Creek, where she also began choreographing for the program. She went on to dance competitively at Kennesaw State University and later returned to coach while continuing to build her choreography experience.

After graduating, Coach Bonin continued coaching and developed a strong passion for mentoring and developing student-athletes. She also performed with the semi-professional team, the Atlanta Blaze. In addition to coaching, she teaches 11th grade physics at Mountain View High School and loves being a Bear. After a rewarding first year with Mountain View, she is excited to continue growing the program and supporting her dancers both on and off the floor.
