Sofia Grace's STEAM Academy

I am so excited to announce that we are defying odds over here and are learning how to read and write clearly. Two of my little ones are reading as toddlers (one read this whole book already, the other is currently working towards it; hence my excitement.) Dr. Seuss is a great way to introduce then practice CVC words. So far we completed: short A, & E. We are now in short I. They took this picture of me while I was congratulating them & you can see how genuinely proud of them I am.

What do you teach when your little one knows all their letter names & sounds? Time to learn to read! Early introduction into Dolch words. See what words they may recognize already by sight. Pick up with the CVC words for short sounding vowels. We are on the letter I currently.

The New Year is here y'all & what are we going to do this year? We at Sofia Grace's STEAM Academy have a goal & that is to defy the odds. That's it. How about you?

Tech allows us to show off what's inside of us: creativity, innovation, a voice. At Sofia Grace's STEAM Academy we enable this voice inside of our little ones. Everyone deserves to have a voice for something.

At Sofia Grace's STEAM Academy we are introducing technology to our little ones to prepare them for a digital future. Currently we have been working on learning to type with different fingers per key. All this is gearing us up for our end of the year project.

Art is a part of our world & should have a major role for our little ones. Without art creativity cannot fully blossom. Art is messy, sometimes not pretty however necessary. No Earth without the word Art.
