Today our RBT Titans enjoyed celebrating the life of Ms Dolly Parton! The hallways were filled with pink, sparkles, butterflies, cowboy hats and lots of boots! We think Dolly would have loved it! We will always love you, Ms. Dolly! Thank you for reminding us to be kind to one another and to always be proud of who we are!

The RBT Family mourns the loss of a very special lady, Ms. Ann Moore. Ms. Ann served as an amazing volunteer at RBT for many years and brought many smiles to the students and staff. She was the best guest reader who created lots of fun reading videos and activities for our youngest Titans. She was known to always surprise the classes with treats and the best coloring sheets. Ms Ann assisted our teachers in a variety of ways and lended a helping hand in lots of RBT classrooms and the RBT library - she loved the book fair and helping to prepare information packets for the families. Ms. Ann was also a wonderful volunteer to our PTO and assisted with many fundraisers - including the holiday candy grams. She brought so much love and so many smiles and hugs to our hallways. While we are sad to lose such a wonderful part of our RBT family, we want her family to know her love and dedication to our Titans has left a lasting legacy at RBT! Thank you, Ms. Ann for loving our school, students and staff - we sure love you and will miss your warm smiles and amazing hugs! šŸ’•

At the beginning of the school year, our Titan staff was surprised with official Team Titans jerseys complete with the date each staff member began their career in education! We are excited to ā€œLead Like A Titanā€ while implementing the district Leader In Me initiative this school year. Curious which Titan staff member has the most years in educationā€¦ check out the last photo!

Special thanks to Young & Thread for designing these amazing jerseys to allow our staff to share their Titan pride!

Note: We will add our K, Custodian, and TASP teams when they have a chance to snap a picture together.

We were so excited to welcome back some special Bearcat Football Players on Friday morning to help with morning arrival. Our Titans enjoyed interacting with them and it was awesome to see our former Titans back at RBT. We wish you a great season ahead and will be cheering you on! Once a Titan, Always a Titan.

Parents, please don't forget that if you would like your child to participate in the BOGO fundraiser, the permission slips are due to school tomorrow, Friday, August 21st. Tomorrow afternoon each student who turned in a permission slip will be given five cards to bring home to sell - be sure to check backpacks. :) If you need additional cards, please make note on your child's permission slip. BOGO Card selling dates are Friday, August 21st - Monday, September 7th. When sending in money for sold cards or unsold cards, it is a MUST to place this in a sealed envelope with your child's name and teacher on the front. All unsold cards and money will be due on Tuesday, September 8th - the last day cards will be sent home to sell is Friday, September 4th. Thank you for supporting RBT PTO and our BOGO fundraiser. :)

Strawbridge Studio will be taking Fall Pictures TOMORROW, Friday, August 21st at RBT. All students will be photographed for the school yearbook. You do not need to send any money. In two-four weeks you will receive a proof of your child's picture and you can choose to order at that time after you see the picture. When you order pictures, you will be able to select the background color for your child's picture, but please remember not to dress your child in green on picture day. If you have any questions, please contact Mandy Brown ([email protected]) or at (502) 839-2500. If your child happens to be absent or if you are not satisfied with your child's picture, there will be a Retake Day later this fall.

RBT BOGO Cards are back! Parents look ok for the BOGO packet in your childā€™s folder this afternoon. If you wish to participate, please send the permission slip back to school by Friday. BOGO card ls will go home with students on Friday. Card sales will begin Friday and end on Tuesday, September 8th. We ask that adults accompany students when selling BOGO cards to ensure safety. Proceeds from each card sale directly benefit the RBT (RBT PTO) and Lawrenceburg Lions Club. Each card has freebies and deals totaling over $1000. Each card costs $10 and cards are only available for purchase from RBT families/students. Thank you for supporting our school!
