Two good employees. Good at their jobs, good people. And they cannot seem to work together. You've talked to both. It helps for a week, then you're back to refereeing.

It's rarely attitude. It's usually style. One of them needs the plan settled before anyone moves. The other needs to start moving to find the plan. Left unspoken, each one experiences the other as the obstacle.

A DISC team workshop puts that difference on the table, in plain language, with the whole team in the room. Half a day, and people stop reading each other's normal as difficult. They start covering each other's gaps on purpose.

You're not trying to make everyone the same. You're giving a team that already cares one shared language for how they work. That's what lifts the whole business.

If your team is carrying friction like this, let's talk. adamsleadership.com

You can probably describe, in detail, how each person on your team makes your job harder. Here's the harder question: how do you land on them?

Every leader has a signature. The instincts that make you effective in one moment quietly cost you in another. The one who drives results can run people over. The one everyone trusts can put off the hard conversation. Most of us can't see our own pattern. We're standing too close to it.

That's what the Leadership Clarity Session is for. A DISC assessment and a private, one-on-one debrief. In about a week, without committing your whole team or your budget, you'll know how you actually lead, what your instincts get right, and where they're costing you.

It's $129, and if you decide to bring it to your team, that fee comes off the workshop. Start with yourself. Message me, or visit adamsleadership.com.

Two of your best people can't seem to work together. One wants every detail settled before moving. The other is three steps ahead and already going. It looks like a personality clash. Usually it isn't.

Most of the friction I see on teams isn't a people problem. It's a translation problem. Two capable people running on different styles, each reading the other's normal as difficult.

The teams that work well aren't the ones without differences. They're the ones who've learned to name them out loud. Once you can say "that's just how she thinks it through," the same difference that caused friction starts covering your blind spots.

Difference isn't dysfunction. It's usually the reason the team is stronger than any one person on it.

You've probably heard of DISC. Here's what it actually is, without the jargon.

DISC is a simple way of understanding how a person is wired across four areas: how they handle problems (D), how they interact with people (I), how they respond to pace and change (S), and how they approach rules and details (C). Most of us are a blend, with one or two styles leading the way.

Why does that matter inside a business? Because the coworker who frustrates you probably isn't difficult β€” they're just wired differently than you. The person who wants every detail and the person who wants to move fast aren't enemies. They need each other. They just don't have the language for it yet.

That language is what a workshop gives a team.

Save this if it made you think of someone on your team. And if you're curious what your team's mix looks like, send me a message.

Your competitor just automated half their workflow. So did you. Now what?

Here's the uncomfortable truth nobody's saying out loud: AI levels the playing field on speed. Everyone can move fast now. Everyone can generate the email, draft the proposal, crunch the numbers.

So speed stops being your edge. What's left? The thing AI can't manufacture...trust.

The leader who shows up consistently. Who makes the hard call and owns it. Who builds a team that believes in where they're going.

AI can accelerate a business. Only a leader can build the human trust that makes it last.

Develop the skills AI can't replace. πŸ‘‡

Everyone's swimming the same direction. That's exactly the problem.

The crowd feels safe. It feels like consensus. But "everyone's doing it" has never once been a leadership strategy β€” it's a comfort blanket.

Real leaders don't ask where is everyone going? They ask where should we be going?

Lead the way. Don't follow it.

The Aligned Leader Jumpstart is built for exactly this moment. In 3 months, you'll get the clarity and confidence to break from the school and lead on your own terms β€” no long-term commitment, just real momentum.
