Any FFA member who has not yet signed up for the Farm Bureau's Young Farmer's & Ranchers Goat Show on Saturday, October the 18th, at Rotary Park needs to do so ASAP!! There is a sign up sheet on Mr. Barksdale's bulletin board to work this event. Any member who attends and helps out at this event will receive full credit for their 25 mandatory SAE service hours for any of Mr. Barksdale or Eledge's classes.

LCHS FFA members, please don't forget our MANDATORY chapter meeting THIS WEDNESDAY, October 1st, at 3:15p.m in Mr. Barksdale's classroom to discuss our annual ham and turkey sales and other very important info! Pizza will be provided! We hope to see everyone there!

The LCHS FFA will be parking cars today starting at 4:00p.m and also throughout the rest of the MTDF in the parking lot of The Crossroads of Dixie Antique Tractor Club right across from the pit entrance at Rotary! Look for this sign on the sidewalk! We will be charging $5 unless otherwise stated and only have so many parking spots available. We encourage everyone to PLEASE come out and support your local FFA chapter!!!

The LCHS FFA will be having a meeting for ALL members Wednesday, October 1st, at 3:15pm after school in Mr. Barksdale's classroom. This meeting will discuss the annual ham & turkey sales and also IMPORTANT handouts regarding Planet HS will be given out during this meeting. All members are encouraged to attend as PIZZA will be provided at this meeting! All members are encouraged to attend and we hope to see you all there!

Soils Competition - The FFA Soils Competition has been MOVED from Sept. 18th to NEXT THURSDAY September the 25th!!! Any member participating in Soils that has not received an info/rules packet needs to see either Mr. Barksdale or Mr. Eledge to pick one up!

Attention any FFA members who missed the meeting on September 16th:

THURSDAY - Homecoming Parade - any FFA member riding in mounted patrol for the Homecoming parade needs to meet at the parking lot of the OLD Goodwill and Factory Connection at 5:00p.m on Thursday, September the 18th. Also, the shirts for Mounted Patrol are in Mr. Eledge's room. See him for your shirt.

We encourage FFA members to PLEASE sign up for fair parking! The sign up sheet is located in Barksdale's classroom.

This week is the LAST week for members to place an order for their FFA jackets and official dress through Mr. Eledge to receive free shipping! If you are interested please see Mr. Eledge ASAP with your money and sizes!
