**ACMS 7th Grade Families:**
We are excited to see you tonight for the 7th Grade Meet and Greet! To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please review these important arrival and traffic updates:

🚗 **Traffic & Parking**

* **Mustang Trail (Woodford St. entrance) is CLOSED** due to construction.
* **Access:** Please enter via the county park (from 127) or the Main Street entrance at the Animal Clinic.
* **Parking:** Please park in the front lots only; avoid the back lot at the practice football field.

🚪 **Entry & Appointment Info**

* **Enter at Door #24** (located to the right of the main entrance, past the flagpole, in the corner behind a tree).
* **Timing:** Please arrive at your scheduled time—not early—to ensure every family has their dedicated time with their advisory teacher.
* **Check-in:** Stop at the welcome table upon entry.

📋 **What to Expect**
After your teacher meeting, be sure to visit the information tables in the cafeteria to handle:

* Bus info & Food services
* School locks/lockers & PTO
* Medical forms (nurse) & School supplies (YSC)

Exit through the main front entrance and follow the alternate traffic pattern to avoid construction. Thank you for your flexibility and support—see you tonight!

The ACMS Mustang Team officially kicked off the 2026–2027 school year today! 🎉

Our staff enjoyed reconnecting with familiar faces, welcoming new team members, and participating in a day of professional learning. Together, we explored new strategies and activities to continue building a positive school culture and climate for our students, families, staff, and community.

We’re excited for an amazing year ahead and can’t wait to welcome our Mustangs back next week! 💙🐴

🍽️ Local Restaurants: We’d Love to Send Our Staff Your Way!

On Monday, August 10, Anderson County Schools will bring hundreds of educators and staff members together for our Unified Opening Day. Rather than catering lunch, we are encouraging our entire team to support local restaurants during our lunch break from 12:00–1:30 PM.

This is a great opportunity to introduce your restaurant to ACS employees, welcome returning customers, and highlight everything you currently have to offer. We would love to know whether your restaurant plans to offer an ACS staff special, discount, featured meal, or other promotion that day.

You are also welcome to share any current specials or promotions you would like us to advertise to our employees before the event. Even if you are not creating a new offer specifically for Opening Day, we would be happy to help make our staff aware of what is already available!

Restaurants and other local businesses may also still donate a door prize, such as a gift card, meal voucher, product, or service. All donating businesses will be recognized during the event.
