Follow these steps to link your Kroger Card to an organization. If you need assistance, call Elizabeth at 502-604-1553. She is ready to help!
1. Sign in to your digital Kroger account.
3. Enter the name or NPO number of the organization you wish to support. Our NPO number is EB834
4. Select the appropriate organization from the list and click “Save”.
Your selected organization will also display in the Kroger Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always do so under your Account details. Backpack Buddies of Anderson County appreciates your time!
KROGER makes the donation based on your purchases. KROGER does not take your fuel points for this. It is FREE for you, KROGER makes the donation. It is a great way to support charitable organizations!

We understand that recent news about the temporary suspension of SNAP benefits may cause worry for some families. Please know that Anderson County Schools remains committed to ensuring that every child is cared for and supported.

🍎 Meals at School: As a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) district, all students will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch at school.

❤️ FRYSC Support: Our Family Resource and Youth Services Centers (FRYSCs) will continue connecting students and families with resources and assistance to meet individual needs.

🎒 Backpack Buddies: The Backpack Buddies program will keep providing extra meals for students to take home over the weekends.

In addition, our community partners are stepping up to help:
Open Hands Food Pantry is ready to assist families in need, and the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce is organizing a community food drive to provide even more support. You can also find immediate help through your local Blessing Box or by contacting your school’s FRYSC directly (see graphic for contact information).

Together, we are—and always will be—All In for Our Students. 🐾

Anderson County High School has been ranked No. 59 in the state of Kentucky among the 2025-2026 Best High Schools by U.S. News & World Report, being recognized for the second year in a row. The rankings evaluate nearly 24,000 schools at the national, state, and local level, with nearly 18,000 ranked.

The methodology focuses on six factors: college readiness; reading, math and science proficiency; reading, math and science performance; underserved student performance; college curriculum breadth; and graduation rates.

"We believe every student deserves access to clear, actionable data when choosing their educational path,” said LaMont Jones, managing editor for education at U.S. News. “In an era where navigating educational opportunities can feel overwhelming for families, the 2025-2026 Best High School rankings help students and parents identify schools that align with their goals and empower informed decisions that shape students' futures.”
