Today we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Koons family for blessing our staff with a wonderful lunch! Your kindness and generosity were such an encouragement and reminded our team how loved and appreciated they are.

A special thank you as well to KC Meats for graciously taking on our last-minute order. Your willingness to serve and support our ministry did not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful.

At God’s Bright Treasures, we are continually reminded that God provides through the hands and hearts of His people. We are so thankful for families and local businesses who come alongside us to encourage those who are investing in the lives of children each day.

✨ A Day Full of Gratitude at God’s Bright Treasures ✨

Today was our God’s Bright Treasures Open House for the 2026/2027 school year, and as I sit back and reflect on the day, my heart is full. 💛

I had the privilege of watching families walk through our doors, meet our amazing team, see our classrooms, and get a glimpse of the love and care that fills GBT every day.

Over the years, I have heard comments like, “That’s not a real job,” or “What you do doesn’t really make a difference.” But today, more than ever, I am reminded that what we do is so much bigger than a job.

What we have the privilege to do each day is a gift and an honor. We are entrusted with precious children during some of their most important years. We get to be the ones who encourage them, teach them, pray over them, celebrate their milestones, comfort them when they are hurting, and help them discover who God created them to be.

Shaping and guiding the next generation is a responsibility I take very seriously. These little ones are not just children in our care — they are God’s treasures, and we have been called to love them well.

I am incredibly thankful for the team God has built at GBT. This team shares the same heart: to serve children and families, to lead with kindness and patience, and to create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and loved. They show up every day ready to make a difference, and I am so blessed to serve alongside them.

“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.” — Psalm 127:3

As we begin preparing for another school year, I am reminded that God’s plans are greater than ours. I pray that every child who walks through our doors feels His love through the hands and hearts of our teachers.

Thank you to all the families who came to our Open House and to those who continue to trust us with your greatest treasures. We cannot wait to see what God has planned for the 2026/2027 school year. 💕

The countdown is on! Grab your walking stick and join us as we journey through the rolling Irish hills, where every bend in the path leads us closer to the heart of the Good Shepherd.

Together we’ll explore Psalm 23 and discover how God lovingly guides, protects, and provides for us. We’ll also follow the incredible story of young David, a humble shepherd boy whose faith in God prepared him for extraordinary things.

Each day will be filled with exciting Bible adventures, lively worship, fun games, creative crafts, and memories your children will treasure for years to come.

There’s a place for every little shepherd on this adventure! Invite your family, bring a friend, and come discover that the Lord is our Shepherd! 💚🍀
