It has been a very busy week at Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg for our Nursing students!🎉
From our new first semester students learning in lab about Personal Protective Equipment to our seniors preparing for their last semester of clinical rotation, and our second semester students earning their Mental Health First Aid certifications and studying for pharmacology checkoffs next week.🤯
Our students are on 🔥, and rocking their first week of learning!🙌👏

Our Transition to RN students finished their last day of clinical for their first semester today!
They completed simulation scenarios and ended with having to complete a series of tasks they learned this summer including answering correct nursing questions, math equations, and drawing up correct dosages to open their lock boxes.💉✅🩺

Our New Nursing Students are learning through Simulation.
Simulated patient care can be a great supplement for students to learn and practice in a less stressful environment while providing hands on skills and training.
