Big news for ARI—and for the future of archaeology, education, and preservation in our community.
The Archaeological Research Institute has been awarded $424,545 through the Indiana Economic Development Corporation’s Arts & Culture Grant Program. We’re also incredibly grateful to the Dearborn Community Foundation for its generous $100,000 grant supporting ADA accessibility as part of our campus improvement project.
Together, these investments bring us significantly closer to creating a more welcoming, accessible, and engaging ARI campus—one with expanded learning spaces, improved visitor experiences, stronger collections and curation areas, and new opportunities to experience our region’s history both inside and outside our walls.
We are deeply grateful to the State of Indiana, IEDC, the Dearborn Community Foundation, Lilly Endowment Inc., and every community partner, board member, donor, volunteer, member, advocate, and supporter who has believed in this vision and helped us reach this milestone.
And we’re just getting started.
