Due to the missed day on Monday, Summer School will be in session on Friday, June 12, 2026. Bus transportation will be provided as usual.

If a student has a previously scheduled event or conflict on Friday, please notify the student’s teacher as soon as possible. Students who ride the bus are also asked to notify their bus driver by Wednesday if they will not be riding on Friday.

ATTENTION Summer Learning students

Lawrence County, Tennessee
Re: June 8, 2026

Due to significant rainfall in the area and out of an abundance of caution, the Lawrence County School System’s Summer School program will be closed Monday June 8, 2026.
Note: Several schools operate a separate summer program and program operation will be at the discretion of the principal. Principals will communicate through email, social media, Remind or other platforms regarding their summer program.

LCSS (11&12 month employees) will operate on regular summer hours.

Mrs. Tipper's class ended their community helpers unit by having some first responders visit. Thwy were able to talk to us about their roles in our community. Thank you first responders!

Ingram Sowell had 4 student place at this year's Science Fair.

1st place - Madison Russell and Royal Bates (5th grade)

2nd place - Apollo Honn (4th grade)

3rd - Adelina Tull (5th grade)
