Hi FFA and 4H friends!

We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Forestry Jobs Camp. Would you please help us distribute information about it to the teachers/advisors/extension agents and students in your organizations?

What Is It: This exciting overnight camp introduces high school students to the world of forestry and natural resources and careers in those fields. Campers make site visits throughout a state forest to learn about forest management, explore a state park with a ranger, tour a working sawmill and logging site, and experience wildland fire concepts first hand. Throughout camp, they interact with foresters and wildland firefighters, forest industry professionals, and park and wildlife rangers, helping to bring this unique career field alive.

Who Is It For: Tennessee high school students from public, private, charter, Montessori, and homeschool backgrounds are welcome to attend.

Dates: Sunday, September 13 - Tuesday, September 15
Location: Natchez Trace State Park Group Camp in Wildersville, TN
