EOC Middle School Band

The Coffman 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands will present their annual Spring concert on Tuesday, May 16 at 7 pm in the EOC gymnasium. Admission is free. Students should report in dress clothes by 6:15 pm.

The Coffman 7th and 8th grade bands will present their Christmas Concert this Tuesday, December 13. The concert will be at 7 pm in the EOC gym. Entry will be at the end of the 7th grade hall, the front entrance, and the new front entrance. Admission is a canned food item which will be donated to the God's Storehouse ministry. Students need to report at 6 pm in dress clothes. Santa hats are acceptable. We hope that you will join us.

Good morning Coffman Band family! It's parade day!! Remember that students need to report to the basketball courts at Rotary Park at 4 pm. Students should be dressed in blue band shirt, long sleeve t-shirt, jeans, and Santa hat.

The Coffman 7th and 8th grade band will be marching in the parade this Saturday. Students will report to the basketball courts of Rotary Park at 4pm and can be picked up behind Neal Funeral Home around 6 pm.

Band parents and students: This is a busy week. 7th and 8th grade bands will play Thursday night for a basketball game. Fundraising calendars are due by Friday. The 7th and 8th graders will march in the Lawrenceburg Christmas parade on Saturday. Times and other important information will be posted as we approach those days.

Students need to bring $9 for band shirts by Wednesday, October 19. Cash or checks only. Checks need to be made to EOC.

8th grade band students are encouraged to register for the spring trip as soon as possible. Numbers are not looking good right now.

There will be a meeting with 8th grade band students and parents in the LCHS band room this Tuesday evening at 7 pm to discuss the spring trip.

Unfortunately, due to scheduling issues, chorus will be meeting after school this year. This will allow 6th graders to participate. Sorry for the confusion with schedules.

Unfortunately, due to damage to the LCHS gymnasium from last weekend's storms, Lawrence County Sings for this year has been cancelled. Advance tickets will be refunded ASAP.

CONCERT WEEK -. Band concert this Tuesday, May 3 at 6:30 pm in the LCHS gymnasium. Students report at 5:30 pm. Choir concert this Thursday, May 5 with same times and place. Dress for students is Sunday-type dress. No t-shirts, hoodies, swears, shirts, or jeans.

Spring concerts are coming up soon. Bands will perform on Tuesday, May 3. The choir will perform on Thursday, May 5. Both concerts will begin at 6:30 in the LCHS gymnasium. Admission is free.

The 8th grade percussion students will rehearse this Monday and Thursday in preparation for the spring concert. The rehearsal will be after school until 4:45. Pick up will be in the car rider lanes at the south end of the school.

The Coffman Choir will rehearse after school on Tuesday, April 26 with the LCHS choir. The rehearsal is to prepare for a joint performance at the Spring concert on May 5. The rehearsal will be in the LCHS music room from 4:00 until 5:30. Students are responsible for transportation to the high school.

Congratulations to Autumn Driver and River Robertson. They were chosen as soloists for an upcoming combined performance by the Coffman and LCHS choirs of "You Will Be Found" from the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen. Both groups will be performing on Thursday, May 5 at LCHS.

CORRECTION: Band and choir pictures will be on Wednesday not today.

Band and choir group pictures will be taken tomorrow, February 22. Students are asked to dress nice and have your instrument.

A very special thank you goes out to Mrs. Kayla Brewer and Kaydence Nix who came out today to clean the carpet in the music room. It has needed it for a long time.

The 7th and 8th grade bands will play tomorrow night in the last home game for Coffman. Students are asked to report to the Crockett Elementary gym at 5 wearing their red band shirt. The 8th grade students will be recognized before the girls game at 5:30. Parents are asked to be there no later than 5:15. The games should end around 8:00.
