It’s hard to believe that just a week ago our staff was making the final push for the end of the year. Helping fuel us with sweet treats, full tummies, and warm hearts were PRIME and their awesome ice cream truck on Wednesday Afternoon. Thursday, IHOP in Lawrence along with our amazing PTO donated a breakfast lunch for our staff. A Perfect way to help boost our spirits and energy for the end of the year!
It’s a Big Day at Langston Hughes as our 5th graders get promoted to middle school!
Next year, they’ll be Bulldogs, Cougars, Mustangs, Saints, and Warhawks… but they were Bobcats First!

Get ready for the most epic battle of the year... just kidding, it's just Field Day! 😂 A day where we'll test our agility, balance, and teamwork, but let's be real, it's all about having a blast with our friends! 🤩 Don't forget to send your kiddos with all the essentials: water bottles, comfy shoes, deodorant, and a healthy dose of silliness! 🎉
Oh, and labeling their stuff is a must, because let's face it, 600 kids and lost items can get a little chaotic! 😅 We can't wait to see everyone's smiling faces tomorrow!

Please help us “fill the fridge” for staff this Friday, October 4. You can send donations of can soda, seltzer water and bottle teas to the office throughout the week. Staff will be treated this Friday. Coke, Diet Coke, Dr Pepper and teas are staff favorites. Please send donations no later than October 3.
