Today is the day!

🌸 Help us celebrate our amazing teachers!

Have your child bring a flower to school on Tuesday, 5/5, and we’ll turn them into beautiful bouquets for our staff to enjoy all week! 💐

We can’t wait to celebrate our staff all week. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

05/04/2026

Teacher Appreciation Week is next week!!!

Here’s Our Plan! 🍎

Monday (5/4): Breakfast in the teachers’ lounge
Tuesday (5/5): Flower Day—students bring flowers for staff bouquets 💐
Wednesday (5/6): Lunch provided
Thursday (5/7): Treats in the lounge
Friday (5/8): Gift Day (homemade or from teacher favorites list)

Here’s how you can help if you are interested and willing:

💐 Tuesday: Send flowers with your child. We’ll combine them to create bouquets for every teacher (or your child can give theirs directly).
🎁 Friday: Gifts for teachers/staff—homemade or from their favorites list. https://www.quailrunpto.com/our-favorite-things

If you’d like to contribute financially toward lunches, snacks, and other treats throughout the week, you can donate here: https://my.cheddarup.com/c/5th-grade-concessions-2025-26-copy/items

Thank you for helping us celebrate our amazing teachers! ❤️

Due to forecasts of severe weather conditions this afternoon and evening across Douglas County, the 5th grade music program has been postponed. We will be in touch soon with information about a possible reschedule date.

We know students and families were looking forward to this event, and we appreciate your understanding as we prioritize everyone’s safety.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Be careful if you're traveling and stay safe, everyone!
