Congratulations to this week’s TCG Employee Spotlight, Rosa Maria Perez De Oliveres! For nearly five years, Rosa has served as a Transportation Manager, helping ensure children have safe, reliable transportation to and from their programs each day.

Rosa is proud to support our mission by helping remove barriers for families. She understands that reliable transportation gives children access to education and services while also helping parents work and support their families. Her work makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.

Thank you for all that you do, Rosa!

Our Infant & Toddler Program at LHS recently hosted a Toddler Room Parent Event! It was a wonderful and very successful classroom event, with almost all of our parents joining us! 💙

Parents participated in an “All About Me” activity with their children. We were so happy to see the classroom filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement as the children enjoyed this special time with their families.

Our educators did an amazing job engaging with parents and keeping them informed about their child’s growth and development in the classroom. It was a wonderful opportunity to help parents feel included and connected to their child’s learning!

🌟 ECCIF Grantee Spotlight: Community Day Care Center of Lawrence, Inc.

Through the Employer Child Care Innovation Fund (ECCIF), Community Day Care Center of Lawrence, Inc. (dba The Community Group) is piloting an innovative cost-sharing model to make child care more affordable and accessible for low-income workers in Lawrence’s health care and human services sectors. 💙

In partnership with Child Care Circuit and local employers, the two-year pilot aims to support up to 35 children from birth to age 5, with a particular focus on expanding access to affordable infant care.

The project represents a $550,000 investment through ECCIF funding and employer contributions — demonstrating the power of community partnerships to support working families and strengthen the local workforce. 🙌
