Lawrence Piano Studio

Four of our students spent their Saturday at participating in the state piano festival, and all four of them received a I rating! If you see these students, congratulate them on their months of dedication and practice!

As announced in this month’s newsletter: Laura is now an owner of Lawrence Piano Studio! She will be learning how to do billing this spring, and your monthly newsletter may start coming from her — and a new email, too!

Don’t worry: Eric has no plans to leave any time soon! Our hope is that this gives us plenty of time to ensure a smooth transition between administrators.

PS, Laura will now be teaching from a more accessible office, feel free to stop in and introduce yourself if you haven’t met!

So proud of everyone who participated in studio recitals last week and recitals this week! Cookies have been eaten and now we can rest.

Students are working on memorization and recital times are on the calendar. Recital season is nearly upon us!

Eric Sakumura has changed countless lives in the 46 years he's been teaching, and we're so please to see him recognized by the Best of Lawrence community this year! Here are some of the messages I received from people during voting:

One week down!! From our kindergarten beginners to our seniors, it was so good to see everyone’s faces and get back to making music together.
