Dear friends, many of you already know this, but for those who don't, I will be leaving the IFC at the end of this semester. After the St. Lawrence Center leadership team decided to take the ministry in another direction (classes will not be offered) and spend less resources on formation, it was discerned that I was not a good fit for the center. Thanks to God's loving providence, I have recently accepted a position to be the Headmaster at a new Catholic classical high school starting in the Kansas City Metro area, the Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri. I will always be grateful to God for leading me to St. Lawrence and the many friendships I have made here, but I am very excited for this new adventure! 8:28

The Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri is excited to announce the hiring of Dr. Luke Murray as Headmaster!

He comes to Chesterton after having served as the Berkel Chair of Theology and leading the Institute for Faith and Culture in Lawrence, Kansas. He received a PhD in Historical Theology and did postdoctoral work at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium), and also has a PhD in Systematic Theology from Ave Maria University, a Masters Degree in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville, and an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from his time discerning the priesthood at Mt. Angel Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his wife Katie and daughters Juliette (6) and Alice (4), playing board games, guitar, piano, and watching the Chiefs and Jayhawks.
