The Voter Education Coalition (VEC) is a non-partisan community organization that works to provide educational opportunities to the public.

The Voter Education Coalition (VEC) is a non-partisan organization that sponsors candidate forums, meet and greets and other events. Our primary goal is to provide information to the public regarding candidate policy positions, vision and qualifications. For the past several election cycles the VEC has been active in disseminating information on local, state and congressional elections.

Friendly reminder: in addition to local races, there is a statewide Kansas Constitutional Amendment question on the ballot today Nov 5th, 2019. Polls close at 7pm. The KS SOS Elections Office is currently updating their voter information page. If you requested an advance ballot, it's on the way!

We set a record! Our office just mailed the largest 1st day batch of ballots for a local election EVER! This is a photo of over 6,200 ballots ready to load and part of the amazing team which made it happen, others were still inside working. In 2017, we our record was 4,600 mailed on the first day.

The election/advance application mailer should be in your mailbox. 2017 was the first time we mailed the information to every voter in a local election and it resulted 8% increase in turnout. We are already received hundreds of applications from this years mailer.
