Sigma Chi at the University of Kansas - Alpha Xi Chapter

Last Wednesday, we proudly continued our tradition of hosting our annual scholarship dinner, celebrating the academic excellence and personal achievements of the outstanding men in our fraternity.

The evening highlighted the dedication and discipline of our members, including Ari Stillman and Nolan Turnbull, who both earned perfect 4.0 GPAs and spoke on the importance of leadership and academic commitment.

We were also honored to welcome alumni David Dillon, who shared valuable insights on what it truly means to lead with purpose and integrity, as well as Larry Pfeiffer, Chairman of Folds of Honor Kansas City. During the evening, we had the privilege of presenting Larry with a donation to Folds of Honor Kansas City, raised through our philanthropic efforts this spring during our Hours of Honor event.

We extend our sincere thanks to all of our alumni and Jack Stack Barbecue for making this event possible!

As a brotherhood, we are proud to support the mission of Folds of Honor and stand behind those who have sacrificed so much for our country. This week was bigger than fundraising, it was about unity, service, and impact.

From Weights for Warriors, to White Cross Red Stripes where nearly every fraternity and sorority was represented, to a meaningful dinner reconnecting with our alumni, our community showed up in a powerful way.

We are especially grateful to Colleen Katzenberger for sharing her testimony and reminding us why this cause matters so deeply.

Sigma Chi at the University of Kansas is Partnering with Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members and first responders. Their mission is simple but powerful: honor sacrifice by investing in the future of the families left behind.

We’re honored to be raising money to help fund these life-changing scholarships, through giving families access to education, opportunity, and hope. Every dollar raised goes toward helping a student chase their dreams because of the courage and service of someone who protected ours.

This is about gratitude. This is about opportunity. This is about carrying forward a legacy of sacrifice with purpose and joy.
