Event Description: Join Hawks for Health and Nu Rho Psi for our Overdose Prevention Panel & Workshop! The event will include a guest lecture, a tribute to our Dr. Bliss, powerful testimonials from TK Fight Fentanyl, and a session with DCCA covering overdose response and naloxone (Narcan) administration. We’ll also be discussing important topics like harm reduction, the effects of opioids on the brain, recognizing an overdose.

Dr. Amber Watts is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at University of Kansas Department of Psychology and a Research Fellow at the KU Alzheimer's Disease Research Center in Kansas City. Her current research investigates changes occurring during the menopause transition including insomnia and brain fog. Her long-term goal is to develop healthy lifestyle interventions that improve women’s health in the menopause transition and beyond.
